A presentation on Turnitin Plagiarism Software

t04Library, University of Moratuwa has taken the initial steps to subscribe software which could help to check students’ work for improper citation or plagiarism by comparing it against the original documents. “Turnitin” was the selected tool for that purpose.  An introductory session to Turnitin was organized on 03rd September 2013 at the Library auditorium. The resources person was Mr. Arjun B.J, Territory Manager of Balani Infotech Pvt. Ltd, India. Prof. Rahul Attalage, Deputy Vice Cancellor of the University, academic staff members from different departments  and Postgraduate students in all three faculties of the University participated for the session.
