Child Development Programme

To fulfill the educational needs of preschool children using modern technology and to enhance their skills and talents, Library launched “Child Development Programme“ in Sumudu Preschool at University of Moratuwa as first outreach activity. There are 18 kids currently following their preschool education in Sumudu Preschool.

Child Development Programme is conducted every Tuesdays and Fridays in the preschool by members of the Library staff.

Clay World – 2nd Session

clay worldMr. Thushara Bandaranayake and Mr. Sameera Perera helped to build  clay sculptures on 3rd November, 2014.  Kids were very keen to build what they want . The activity helped them to improve motor skills and creative ability.

All about Soil

All about Soil 25Mrs. Umanga Karunaratne volunteered to collect many facts about soil for kids. Using a PowerPoint presentation she explained types of soil, uses of soil etc. Further, kids were educated about protecting soil too. Mr. Roshan Fernando and Mr. Sameera Perera provided the technical assistance.
